Current Students - Registration
Verification of Residency will be held July 20 (10:00 am–6:00 pm) & July 21 (7:30 am–3:30 pm) at the following locations:
- Grades K-5: Pearl Upper Elementary Cafeteria
- Grades 6-8: Pearl Junior High School Main Building
- Grades 9-12: Pearl High School Commons
Parents of returning students should complete the online registration process before attending Verification of Residency. Remember to bring two proofs of residency, and bringing copies can help speed up the process.

Where can I access my student's registration form on my ActiveParent account?
You may access your student's registration form by clicking on the paper/pencil icon on the upper, right-hand side of your ActiveParent screen, and you will be able to select your child's name from the drop-down box labeled Please Choose a Student To Begin Registration.
Registration Information
New-to-the-District Student Registration
Please contact the appropriate school.
If your child is new to the Public School District, you will need to locate the information below for the appropriate grade and follow the steps for that building.
Only a custodial parent/legal guardian may register a child.
GRADES K - 5 – On or after July 8, 2026, call the appropriate school (listed below) to obtain an ActiveCode.
Step 1: Contact the appropriate school to obtain an ActiveCode to complete the online registration application.
- Pearl Upper Elementary - Grades 4 - 5 - 601-932-7981
- Northside Elementary - Grades 2 - 3 - 601-932-7971
- Pearl Lower Elementary - Grades K - 1 - 601-932-7976
Step 2: Complete online registration using the ActiveCode(s) to create an ActiveParent account. Click here for instructions for completing online registration.
Step 3: Bring proofs of residence and the required documentation (see list below) to Verification of Residency at Pearl Upper Elementary on July 20, 2026 (10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.) or July 21, 2026 (7:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.).
GRADES 6 - 8 – Pearl Junior High School (grades 6–8) - On or after July 9, 2026, call 601-932-7952 or 601-932-7958 to set up an appointment and receive an ActiveCode. Bring proofs of residence and the required documentation (see list below) to your scheduled appointment.
GRADES 9 - 12 – Pearl High School (grades 9–12) - Email the appropriate counselor listed below to set up an appointment and receive an ActiveCode allowing you to complete online registration. Bring proofs of residence and the required documentation (see list below) to your scheduled appointment.

You will need to bring the following items to your appointment.
- Child’s original certified birth certificate
- Child’s original immunization Form 121 (shot record)
- Proof of additional immunization required for 7th grade entry (Tdap)
- Child’s original Social Security card
- Parent’s/guardian’s photo ID
- 1st - 12th grades - Report Card/Transcript from child's previous school
- 1st - 12th grades - Discipline history from the child's previous school
- Withdrawal form from the previous school is required if you have attended another school THIS YEAR.
