Welcome to First Grade! My name is Kimberly Williams. This will be my 18th year to teach. This is my seventh consecutive year at PLE. I taught here two years and moved to Oxford for two years prior to returning home. I have taught grades Kindergarten-fourth grade in my 18 years of teaching.  I was born and raised in Durant, MS. I have been married for 16 years to Matt, who teaches 8th grade science at the Jr. High and we have two children. My daughter Kate is 15, she is in the 10th grade at the High School. My son Parker is 10. He is in 5th grade at the Upper. I received my undergrad in Elementary Education at The University of Mississippi, my Masters and Specialist in Elementary Education from Mississippi College, and my Literacy Masters from Belhaven.
I am excited to work with you as a team in your child's educational goals. I believe that every child can learn and together we can make this year a great one.  As always, every day is a great day to be a Pirate!
