2021 - 2022 Student Registration
ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR PPSD IS NOW OPEN.
Verification of residency may be uploaded during online registration or submitted during verification of residency.
Registration is completed through your ActiveParent account. Log in to your existing ActiveParent account OR create a new ActiveParent account. You may access your ActiveParent account at https://pearl.activeparent.net (direct link) OR on the district website (www.pearlk12.com) under the PARENT tab. You may access your student's registration through your ActiveParent account. If you enrolled a student in PPSD last year, then your student is already attached to your account for registration. On or after June 15, you may access their registration through your ActiveParent account by clicking on the paper/pencil icon in the upper, right-hand side of the menu bar on your ActiveParent account.
Students who were not enrolled in Pearl Public Schools at the end of last year should consult the New-to-the-District Student Registration section below. If your child is a returning student (registered in a school in the Pearl Public School District at the end of last year), please consult the Current Students - Registration section located below.
New-to-the-District Student Registration
If your child is new to the Public School District, you will need to request an ActiveCode in order to create an ActiveParent account. You will then be able to complete the online registration process.
Step 1: Begin the registration process for NEW STUDENTS.
Click on the following link https://bit.ly/PearlNewStudent to request an ActiveCode.
Once you complete the form, you will receive an email containing an ActiveCode and instructions on how to complete registration.
During the summer, you may direct any questions to 601-932-7921 if you cannot reach the school.

Step 2: Complete online registration using the ActiveCode(s) to create an ActiveParent account. Click here for instructions for completing online registration.
Step 3: After your registration has been submitted, you should call 601-933-9002 or 601-932-7921 to schedule a date/time (July 26 - July 28) to meet and complete the registration process.

You will need to bring the following items to your appointment.
- Child’s original certified birth certificate
- Child’s original immunization Form 121 (shot record)
- Proof of additional immunization required for 7th-grade entry
- Child’s original social security card
- Parent’s/guardian’s photo ID
- 1st - 12th grades - Report Card/Transcript from child's previous school
- 6th - 12th grades - Discipline history from child's previous school
- Withdrawal form from the previous school is required if you have attended another school THIS YEAR.

Only a custodial parent/legal guardian may register a child.

Where can I access my student's registration form on my ActiveParent account?
You may access your student's registration form by clicking on the paper/pencil icon on the upper, right-hand side of your ActiveParent screen, and you will be able to select your child's name from the drop-down box labeled Please Choose a Student To Begin Registration.

Registration - Verification of Residency Dates
Verification of Residency for the 2021-2022 school year will be held on the following dates.
All parents must submit two current proofs of residency prior to the beginning of school on August 6.
**Please make sure you've completed the online registration process prior to the Verification of Residency.
Residency documents or “proofs” can be uploaded online to save time and avoid lines. We strongly encourage all returning students to upload proofs of residency online.
- Returning high school students who prove residency online by July 22, will have their schedule emailed to them beginning on July 23.
- Returning junior high school students who prove residency online by July 26, will have their schedule emailed to them beginning on July 27.
- Returning elementary students who upload and prove residency by July 26, will receive their teacher's name beginning July 27.

Parents of returning students who upload the required proofs of residency during the online registration process will not be required to attend verification of residency.
New-to-the-District Students in Grades 1 - 12
