• Vacancies for the 2022-2023 School Year

     

    Certified Positions

    Elementary Teacher (Grades K-5): Applicants must hold a valid MS Educator License with a 116, 154, or 120 endorsement.

    Dual Credit Biology (11-12): Applicants must hold a valid MS Educator License AND a master's degree with a minimum of 18 hours in graduate-level biology coursework.

    NJROTC Instructor (Grades 9-12): Current letter of verification of approval from U.S. Department of Navy.

    ELA Interventionist (Grades 6-8): Applicants must hold a valid MS Educator License with a 119 English (7-12) endorsement and experience delivering student support through the MTSS process is strongly preferred.

     

    Classified Positions

    Bus Drivers: Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

    1. 21 years of age or older
    2. Good physical health
    3. Good moral character and ability to handle a crisis
    4. Possess a valid MS Driver License with a satisfactory driving record and either possess a CDL Class B with P and S endorsements OR be willing to participate in training to acquire a CDL with the necessary endorsements.

    Custodian (Grades 2-3; 6-8; 9-12): Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

    1. Good physical health and stamina.
    2. Demonstrated aptitude, competence, and interpersonal skills for assigned responsibilities.
    3. Prior work experience or recommendation.

    Assistant Teacher-Special Education (Grades 2-3): Applicants must meet ONE of the following requirements:

    1. An associate degree
    2. 48 hours of college credit OR
    3. Pass WorkKeys tests
      1. Applied mathematics (passing score 4)
      2. Workplace documents (passing score 4)
      3. Business writing (passing score 3)

    Applicants should possess the skills and dispositions needed to work with special needs students in a self-contained setting. Information about the WorkKeys tests is available by clicking here.

    Assistant Teacher (Grades K-1 and Grades 2-3): Applicants must meet ONE of the following requirements:

    1. An associate degree
    2. 48 hours of college credit OR
    3. Pass WorkKeys tests
      1. Applied mathematics (passing score 4)
      2. Workplace documents (passing score 4)
      3. Business writing (passing score 3)

    Assistant Teacher - In-school Suspension (Grades 6-8): Applicants must meet ONE of the following requirements:

    1. An associate degree
    2. 48 hours of college credit OR
    3. Pass WorkKeys tests
      1. Applied mathematics (passing score 4)
      2. Workplace documents (passing score 4)
      3. Business writing (passing score 3)
     
    The Office of Personnel is located at 3375 Highway 80 East, Pearl, Mississippi 39208.  Personnel office hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 to 4:00.
