  • Adminsitrators and teachers are required to obtain and maintain certifcation issued from the Mississippi Department of Education.  Certification information can be obtained by calling MDE Office of Educator Licensure at 601.359.3483 or by visiting the website listed below:

    Beginning September 9, 2021, all licensure documents must be submitted online through the educator's ELMS account.  Also, with any new initial licensure application or renewal application, each educator must submit the notarized Lawful Presence form.  More details about these two recent changes to the licensure process, as well as all updates and resources from the Office of Educator Licensure can be found at the website listed above.
